Stock rewards (and the precise amount you’ll receive) typically take up to 7 business days to process before they are ordered and settled through Bumped. Here’s how it works:
1. Identifying your purchase
When you make a purchase that qualifies for a stock reward, it will take a few business days to show up in Bumped while transactions settle with your bank. When your purchase shows up in Bumped, you’ll be able to see it in your Activity tab.
To check the status of your reward open the Bumped app, tap Activity, select your purchase and tap on Reward Status. At this stage, your Reward Status will be listed as “Purchase Identified”.
2. Processing your purchase
Bumped works with shopping partners to provide stock rewards, and this process can take up to 14 business days. But, never fear! As soon as we have a record of your qualifying purchase, you’re eligible for stock rewards (so long as you don’t make a return or other adjustments).
Once your purchase has been processed, your reward will show as pending, and your Reward Status will be updated to “Purchase Processing”. Keep in mind that you won’t own this stock until the purchase has been settled and rewarded.
3. Ordering your stock
This is when things get exciting: Once your purchase has been processed, we’ll get to work and order the stock reward you earned. Your Reward Status will update to “Stock Ordered”. Once we’ve ordered stock for you, it’s just a few business days until your stock reward hits your account!
4. Settling your stock
Just like a credit card purchase can take a few days to show up on your statement, stock takes a few days to settle. Once the stock order has settled and is in your account, it’s all yours!
