Bumped customers can receive fractional shares of stock for their transaction spend with a brand partner. This means when you get a refund on a transaction (say you return an item to the store), and stock has already arrived in your account, Bumped may reverse the reward in order to make adjustments to match the refunded amount. You can read more about how we handle refunded transactions in the user agreement.
As noted in the agreement, Bumped monitors for unusual account activity—things like repeated returns, chargebacks, and irregular spending. If we determine that the activity may be an abuse of the platform, we may suspend participation at our discretion.
